 BP-Ford World Rally Team test driver Roman Kresta, from the Czech Republic, is to drive a Mitsubishi Lancer Evo IX on the forthcoming Barum Rally Zlin (25-27 August). The seventh round of the FIA European Rally Championship is based in his home town, Zlin.
The ERC rallies are open to both Group N and Super 1600 cars, and although much of Kresta's current work is to develop the Ford Fiesta S1600 car, he has been given approval to drive the Mitsubishi on this occasion.
His car for the Barum Rally is sponsored by Tescoma, a kitchen utensil manufacturing company. It has no connection with Tesco, which sponsors the British Rally Championship, which Kresta is contesting this year, in the Fiesta.Samo registrirani korisnici mogu pisati komentare.
